mail@aswinmurali.dev- One person reads this inbox. You'll normally hear back within 2 working days.
- Privacy requests — a copy of your data, deletion, opting out of ad sharing — are answered within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy.
- There is no phone line and no live chat. Email is the whole support desk.
1. What to put in your email
The more of this you include, the faster this gets fixed:
- Your in-game name and the email address on your account.
- Your device and OS — for example "iPhone 14, iOS 18.2" or "Pixel 7, Android 15".
- Whether you installed from the App Store or Google Play.
- Roughly when it happened, and what you were doing — a match, a scout, a purchase.
- A screenshot or screen recording if there's anything to see.
Don't send passwords. We never need one, and we will never ask you for it.
2. Purchases and refunds
You paid but got nothing
Gems and packs are granted after the store confirms the payment. If the confirmation is interrupted — the app closed, the network dropped — the purchase is finished the next time you open the game, so reopening it is the first thing to try.
If the items still haven't arrived after a reopen, email us with your in-game name and the order id from your App Store or Google Play receipt. We can look the transaction up and grant it by hand.
You want your money back
We can't issue refunds ourselves — Apple and Google take the payment, so they run the refund:
- iOS / iPadOS: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: Google Play refund request
Tell us as well if the reason was a bug on our side. We'd rather fix the cause than have you fight a refund form.
Purchases and devices
Everything you own lives on your Smash Cards account, not on the phone. Sign in on a new device and your cards, currency and progress come with you.
3. Sign-in and lost accounts
You can sign in with an email and password, with Google, or with Apple Game Center. Whichever you used the first time is the one that finds your account — signing in a different way creates a new account rather than opening the old one.
If you can't get back in, email us with the address you registered with, or your in-game name plus roughly when you last played, and we'll work out which account is yours.
4. Deleting your account
You can do this yourself, from inside the game, without asking us:
- Open Settings from the dashboard.
- Scroll to ACCOUNT and tap DELETE on the Delete Account row.
- Type DELETE into the confirmation box.
- Tap DELETE MY ACCOUNT.
This is immediate and permanent. Your account, cards, gems, coins, rank, battle pass, achievements, chat messages, friends and guild membership are erased. Nothing is held in a recycle bin, and we cannot undo it or restore it later. Unspent gems are not refunded.
One thing survives on purpose: purchase records. Tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, so we strip out what points back at you and keep the anonymous transaction. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy spells this out.
Deleting the game from your phone does not delete your account. If you can't sign in to reach the button, email mail@aswinmurali.dev and we'll delete it for you within 30 days.
5. Rewarded ads
Ads in Smash Cards are entirely optional. The only one you can ever see is the 2× reward ad on the victory screen, and only if you tap the button asking for it. There are no banners, no interstitials, and nothing that interrupts a match.
If an ad fails to load or ends early, the doubled reward isn't granted — your original match reward is untouched. Try again on your next win; if it fails every time, email us with your device and network (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
Watching an ad shares your device advertising id and IP with our ad partner. To opt out of that sharing, email us with "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the subject line, or simply don't tap the button. Details are in section 3 of the Privacy Policy.
6. Chat and other players
Guild and direct chat run through an automatic profanity filter, but a filter doesn't catch everything. If someone is harassing you or breaking the rules, email us with their in-game name, the channel, roughly when it happened, and a screenshot. We can read the messages in question when investigating a report, and we act on what we find.
Chat isn't private. Other players in the channel see what you write, so don't post your email, real address, or anything else you wouldn't say out loud.
7. Bugs and crashes
Crashes are reported to us automatically, but an automatic report can't tell us what you were trying to do. If something is broken, email us with the details from section 1 — especially the steps that trigger it. A bug we can reproduce is a bug we can fix.
Feature requests and blunt feedback go to the same address. We read all of it.
8. Age and parents
Smash Cards is for players aged 16 and over. If you're a parent or guardian and believe a younger child has made an account, email us and we'll delete it and any data attached to it.
The game sells gems and coins for real money. On both iOS and Android you can turn purchases off, or require a password for every one, in the device's own screen-time or parental-control settings.
